There has been a lot of discussion recently about AI replacing humans, causing unemployment and turmoil. I want to say that you can rest assured, the kind of turmoil seen in movies will definitely not happen. But I want to warn you that a quieter and more thorough “destruction” is taking place.

This is not the demise of the physical body, but a large part of humanity will forever lose the best experience of being Homo sapiens: the natural right to think independently and to make a difference.

According to the logic I have observed, the future of humanity will be reduced to three cruel ecological niches:

Due to the popularization of AI, basic materials will become extremely abundant. Even if you do nothing, you can survive. But this is precisely the trap. What is even more terrifying is that you lose the opportunity for independent thought. In the eyes of the top-level logic, this class, although alive, is no longer the main body of civilization, but “biological material” that maintains the operation of the system.

These people are willing to learn, insist on working, and hold on to their thinking as they grow.

They understand the essence of class. Because they are still participating in social collaboration and thinking independently, they can hold on to partial freedom. Their reward is a “customized” life, able to enjoy natural foods truly nourished by the earth. In the future, “natural” will become the ultimate luxury, and this privilege will only belong to those who have not given up their brains.

They are closest to the core of AI and the underlying logic of the world.

This is the top of the ecological niche. They not only have the highest level of independent thought, but also absolute control. They live in a highly real and high-quality world. For them, AI is not an opponent, but a tool to extend their will.

What sends a chill down my spine the most is not how powerful the technology is, but those who actively choose not to think, not to work, and not to discern the truth.

When they indulge in the comfort fed by algorithms and no longer experience the joy of “creating” and “acting” as Homo sapiens, they have actually completed their self-destruction. The independent will that Homo sapiens has been most proud of for tens of thousands of years has been extinguished in them.

This destruction is silent: you think you are just enjoying convenience, but you are actually quietly deregistering from the list of “humanity” and becoming a background color for the top humans to maintain the operation of the world.
